HDD Hole opener ranging from 12 to 66 that is divided into two type: MT cutter and TCI cutter, and is used in various compressive strength of the formations. The product is used for the reaming of the oil, gas, petrochemical, sewage, power and fiber optic pipelines in the trenchless horizontal directional drilling and vertical drilling. Directional crossing operation is widely used in trenchless project. Hole opening is the most onerous task in this operation, but the key for hole opening operation is the hole opener choosing according to the operation equipment and formation.
Rock Reamer; Horizontal Hole Openers, also known as HDD Hole Openers, it are used to enlarge the pilot hole in Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) - HDD is used when trenching and excavating is not practical. This drilling technology allows for a steerable trenchless way to drill underground. There are three stages:
[1] the first stage is to drill a small diameter pilot hole.
[2] The second stage is enlarge the hole with a larger diameter cutting tool called an HDD Reamer, Rock Reamer or Hole Opener.
[3] The third stage is inserting the casing pipe or other product into the enlarge hole.
